Does Zelda Need HD?

After all these years, does the Legend of Zelda series need a graphical revamp? Should Link speak his first words in Zelda history?
Listen to my words and see how I plainly feel about these two issues. I may take another day to talk about them with more depth, but for now this will make due.

Transcript, slightly edited: Does Zelda need HD? No it does not NEED high definition, high quality, Uncharted 2 graphics. But would I love to play and see one? Yes, BUT it has to be done right. The Legend of Zelda is a very special and unique case. When you take a game such as Mario, a game that is all about the gameplay that is driven by the wonderful elements and the tools you come across on your adventure that really make it unique and memorable, not the graphics. But when you take something where people say Wind Waker was horrible graphic wise but Twilight Princess was amazing graphics wise, it bothers me as they can co-exist.
Which one in the end would you rather see more of? In the end I don't wanna see more Wind Waker styled games, but do I have a problem with it's graphics? No. In fact, I highly enjoyed Wind Waker and there is nothing wrong with it and nothing to change about it. It fit it's game style, it fit it's gameplay. What I mean by that is, the game that is given to us above Hyrule on a vast vast vast body of water, and the characters that we meet, it feels right within everyone and everything that you interact with in that world with the graphics we have been given. When you play Twilight Princess, for the theme of the Twilight Realm and turning into a wolf, and the way the enemies die and look, they all intereact with each other perfectly. The feel of the world and the feel of the atmosphere blend together. So while it may be graphcally enhanced to any other Zelda game to date, the type of graphic enhancement that it had, is relevent to the story and world they are trying to portray.
Do I want to see even more improved amazing graphics? Yes I do, but I am not yelling for it. I am not calling for it. Screen-shots with fake mock ups are great for me, but I want a Zelda game that fits it. I want a game that fits the atmosphere and tone for the type of game it is. Spirit tracks fits it's atmosphere and tone, Wind Waker fits it's atmosphere and tone, Twilight Princess fits it's atmosphere and tone. I would like to see something more, provided it fits it's atmosphere and tone. If it's not relevant I don't want it. Just like Wind Waker though, I want it at least once.
Now take Link's not speaking. How do I feel about that? Does it need to evolve? No, it does not. Maybe you can make all the towns people speak, but Link himself should not speak. The other characters can do whatever they want, but Link should NOT speak. He did in the tv show but that does not count. He is a silent hero for a reason. Not the same way Mario is, as we know what Mario sounds like a little bit. Link is one of the few silent hero's left in the gaming world. He has had a history of it for many years and many games, it should stay that way. It is a characteristic of himself and should not change.
We do not know how many more Zelda games there will be, and we can only hope there will be many many more. For now though, leave him be. As far as graphics are concerned, let it be what fits. I could go on and on about little things here and there but what matters from my Zelda games are theme and quality. I would love to see an HD Zelda, but only if it fits. As far as link's voice is concerned I only want to hear his grunts and hiyas. This is Link584, and thank you for listening.
